January 6th, 2012 - Get Back to Work!

This was a fun experience. It was great to concentrate on a single culture each day, and to realize how much of each culture has woven its way into our everyday lives. Separating a single strand out of the tapestry for closer inspection was interesting and entertaining. It made us realize how rich our culture of many cultures really is.

I've been wanting to do a blog for a while now. This has been a real eye-opener for me.
Blogging is a huge commitment of time and energy. It was fun, but I am glad I only committed myself for 2 weeks, and not many years. I have a new admiration for bloggers who have been at it for months or years. I'm glad I did it, but I'm also glad I'm done.

This will be a fun place for us to visit and remember the fun we had during the 2011-2012 holidays!
